The Manufacturing Process: Excellence Revealed

Our rigorous 7-step manufacturing process makes every non-sparking tool exceptional.

Step 1: Melting & Sand Casting

In the furnace, high-quality copper is melted with alloying ingredients. This molten liquid is poured into sand molds, which form the basic shape of the tool. After the tools are cast, the next process is to impart the trademark strength of our Sparkless® tools.

Step 2: Die Forging

The tool is reheated to around 900°C before being put into the die mould of a forging machine. High-pressure and high-temperature forging helps align the grain structure, removes porosity, and refines the microstructure to create a product that can survive intensive usage and demanding applications without deformation or failure.

Step 3: Precision Machining

In this stage, state-of-the-art machines (CNC machines, lathes, slotting machines, etc) meticulously shape and refine each tool, guaranteeing precision and accuracy in every detail. Precise machining operations ensure that every tool meets the rigorous standards of tolerances as per DIN/IS.

Step 4: Polishing

Non-sparking tools undergo a thorough polishing process to achieve a smooth, corrosion-resistant finish. This not only enhances their appearance but also improves the tools' ergonomics.

Step 5: Dimensional Testing

Dimensional Testing ensures the perfect fit and functionality of each tool. Tools undergo rigorous dimensional testing. No room for error ensuring that you receive a tool that meets your exact specifications.

Step 6: Quality Check

Dedicated quality control teams carefully re-inspect every tool for surface finish. Further, tools are tested for their composition using spectro analysis.

Step 7: Strength Testing

Non-sparking tools are subjected to painstaking strength tests, including hardness test, tensile test and torsional strain test. This ensures that they are well suited for all industrial applications.
