- Ball End Allen Keys have ball heads at the ends to provide more swivel room for each wrench.

PROPER USE

- Select an Allen key whose opening exactly fits the nut.
ABUSE/MISUSE
- Never use a hammer or extension on this wrench.
- Do not use worn-out Allen keys, it will slip and may cause injury.
- Do not use An Alley Key to free a “Stubborn/Frozen” Allen Bolts.
Equipment sourced globally may use either measurement system. Facilities with mixed equipment inventories must maintain both non-sparking key types to service all machinery without forcing incorrect size fits.
Machine guards, equipment covers, adjustment points on machinery, shaft collars, and precision alignment fixtures all commonly use hex socket fasteners requiring non-sparking Allen keys for access and adjustment.
