PROPER USE
- Ball pein hammers of the proper size are designed for striking chisels and punches, and for riveting, shaping, and straightening unhardened metal.
- When striking a struck tool (chisel or punch), the striking face of the hammer should have a diameter at least-10mm larger than the struck face of the tool.
ABUSE/MISUSE
- Strike squarely and avoid glancing blows that may cause the edge of the to have to chip, possibly resulting in the eye or other serious injuries.
- Never strike with or against the side, or cheek, of any hammer.
- Never use a hammer with a loose or broken handle.
